Pear, AppleApplePear | used as a fruit thinning agent for apples and pears, has a positive effect on plant physiological processes, thus increasing yield quality and quantity. | applied on apple and pear trees at full bearing, on plants with a developed crown. trees should be treated when the central fruit reaches 7-15 mm (BBCH 71-72). volume 1000 l/ha; the product rate should be chosen taking into account the expected fruit thinning effect. the rate and amount of water depend on tree size and crown density. for treating trees with a dense crown, the maximum permitted rate of 7.5 l/ha and 1000 l water per ha is used; for low trees the amount of product and water is reduced. the maximum permitted concentration of the sprayed suspension must not exceed 750 ml/100 l water. the product has no systemic action, so adequate coverage of treated trees is essential. the action of the growth regulator also depends on air humidity and temperature at the time of treatment, and on varietal sensitivity. the product may be used once per growing season on the same plot of land. trees should not be treated at air temperatures below 15 °C or when plants are weakened by drought or cold. two to three days after treatment, the outside air temperature should be 20 to 25 °C. rainfall within 4 hours of treatment reduces product efficacy. if the air temperature is expected to exceed 30 °C within 2-3 days after treatment, excessive fruit thinning may occur. Exilis must not be mixed with other pesticides and fertilisers. | 90 (1) | 7(3) |
